This watch was purchased new in 1926 by Daniel Joseph Toomey and passed down through three generations of one family. It served as a daily-carry timepiece for decades, then a heirloom kept through the latter half of the 20th century, then a quiet object of remembrance. The lineage is documented in the original appraisal and corroborated by family records.

It is now the first non-instrument object registered on the BE Authentic platform — the watch whose three-generation history is the proof case for what cryptographic provenance for everyday meaningful objects actually looks like. From this point forward, every winding, every tap, every transfer is signed and durable.
